Organic Baby Bedding Set: Snappy, More Earth-friendly Reaction To Daycare Decor

In: Home

There is now a growing awareness amongst Americans that we live our lives surrounded by chemicals; many of which can pose significant health risks. Increasing numbers of expectant parents are taking these new bits of knowledge to heart while they busily put together a nursery and choose linens for their baby’s room.

Organic baby bedding consists of several elements brought together in unison. Along with certified organic cotton, conventionally grown cotton and hypoallergenic polyester fills are often combined with several other fabrics to create the organic baby bedding. Natural organic cotton, hemp, and wool fibers are combined to create different types of organic bedding. Some studies suggest that a baby’s small body more readily absorbs and retains pesticide residues than does an adult’s body; organic bedding helps keep this exposure from happening.
